The Pavilion is doing warm space Fridays with free hot drinks. 9 to 10:30 for children + accompanying adult and then 10:30 to 3 for anyone.
Not free but just £5 are warm Fridays at Betty's Sewing Box. The workroom will be open between 10 and 12 for chats and sewing/knitting/crochet plus a brew and a biscuit and enjoy the warmth and company of fellow crafters. Bring a crafty project with you. Call or email to book.
Also not free but warm and welcoming are most of the pubs and cafes around town. You will need to buy something but outside of busy times most will be happy to host you for as long as they are open.
