Derbyshire Dales Community Safety Partnership are holding an ASB Community Event on Saturday 8th July at Ashbourne Recreational Ground from 10am-2pm.

ASB = anti-social behaviour and is an extremely wide ranging issue with many different manifestations for ex. youth nuisance, criminal damage, neighbour disputes, bullying, hate crime, environmental issues and many complex causes such as social deprivation, substance misuse, poverty, poor health, family breakdown, mental health etc. Fear and perceptions of ASB and crime levels is also a major issue for residents in the Dales, despite us being a low crime area.

It is national Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week from the 3rd – 9th July 2023. The theme for this year’s Awareness Week is ‘know your rights’.

This event will appeal to the whole community with an element of ‘fun‘ including information  stalls, displays and activities.
