Creative Peaks presents Jimsun (aka Jaime Gonzales) who will be cooking up a semi-improvised lo-fi set with hip hop, folk, Latin, soul and dub flavours. Silky smooth vocals merge with kooky loops, twisted effects, filters and time-stretched samples to create his signature sun-drenched soundscapes.

The event is free but a donation of £5 is suggested. Events often finish with a jam session so with luck it will be long evening.

Creative Peaks is an arts and music organisation, joining the dots between sound, words, image, movement and the natural world, with an emphasis on improvisation, experimentation and collaboration.

Our base is the Watts Russell Arms, an ancient stone-built venue in Hopedale, just 8 miles from Ashbourne.
