Discover Ashbourne this June

We hope you’ve enjoyed the not one, but two, bank holidays in May. Hopefully you spent at least one of them in Ashbourne. 🤭

May saw Ashbourne’s first ever art trail, Artbourne, the Ashbourne triathlon and a visit from pop-star Olly Murs during his Soccer Aid endurance challenge, but if you missed out on Ashbourne in May, worry not. June is set to be a very busy month indeed.

Interesting Fact: 1966 West German football team trained here ⚽

The 1966 West Germany football team trained in Ashbourne Recreation Ground before loosing to England in the World Cup final at Wembley. Hopefully those who play football there today have better luck (but we’re glad West Germany didn’t in 1966).
