Ashbourne is great place for cycling, with some of the best off road-trails in the country right on the doorstep.  The Tissington Trail is within easy reach for even beginner cyclists but also nearby are the High Peak Trail, the Monsal Trail and the Manifold Valley.

There is a great bike shop that also does bike hire, and two other hire shops. There are plenty of places to park your bicycle around the town centre.
