Army cadets

The Ashbourne Army Cadets are a detachment of the Derbyshire force. Derbyshire Army Cadets offers adventure, skills and leadership opportunities to young people aged 12 – 18. With detachments across the county, cadets experience fieldcraft, first aid, shooting and navigation to name just a few activities – all while making friends and having fun. Our passionate team of adult volunteers, aged 18+, help guide and inspire cadets while gaining their own skills and qualifications. Whether you’re a young person looking for challenge and personal growth, or an adult wanting to give back, there’s a place for you in Derbyshire Army Cadets.
