Ashbourne Running Club

Ashbourne Running Club has around 100 members and caters for recreational runners looking to improve their fitness through to those that run marathons and ultras.

We regularly meet for informal training runs in the area and take part in local races. There is also an active fell running group for those who like to run off the beaten track.

Our normal club night is Tuesday and we usually offer a choice of routes and speeds but you need to be able to run at a good pace and typically we will cover 6 to 8 miles.  

New for 2023 is Thursday nights, designed for slower or less experienced runners, aiming perhaps for a three mile run with intervals of walking.

We have a noticeboard at the leisure centre.
