Bowmer Bond

Bowmer Bond can trace its origins back to 1795 when Morton Bond started his tape manufacturing business in Morrey, Staffordshire. The company was later merged with John Bowmer and Sons.

Our main manufacturing site in Ashbourne is a Victorian Textile Mill which dates back to 1866 and is set in picturesque countryside adjacent to the River Dove. We also have a second weaving mill in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

We are an experienced manufacturer of innovative, finished webbing solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We supply global manufacturers in a diverse range of industries who process our webbing as a component in their finished product.

In September 2022, Bowmer Bond was transferred to a Trust, set up on behalf of, and for the benefit of, our employees. This was a pivotal moment and an exciting time in the long 227-year history of our business, securing the future and giving long-term stability and security for employment.
