Ashbourne Historical Centre

The Ashbourne Historical centre is a treasure trove of information about Ashbourne and its history. Tim the curator has Ashbourne roots stretching back for centuries and knows pretty much everything about Ashbourne's history. There are permanent displays about the schools , shrovetide etc and often there is a temporary exhibition (see the whats on page for whats on now). Also available is a selection of local maps and tourist leaflets. Open 10 til 3 - closed Sunday and Thursday.
