Remember that inflatables will only be up in good weather and the timings of switch-on will vary house-by house.

Our favourites

From north to south our favourites are...

• Northcliffe Avenue (off North Ave) - one fabulous house which gets better every year.
• Ashbourne Town Centre is sparkling with lights on all the main streets and tree in the market place.
• Green Man Yard is a forest of twinkling Christmas trees (walkers only).
• Brookside Meadows (off Park Ave) has three great houses.
• The manger (Park Rd traffic lights) is an Ashbourne classic, best viewed driving by.
• Clumber Close (bottom of Premier Ave) is great for night and day with inflatables, lights and decorated trees.
• Derby Road (where the hill flattens) has a house shimmering in gold with reindeer on the lawn.
• Davenport Grove (off Harlow Way) is elegant in shades of white.
