Follow a trail guided by lights through the Heritage Wood near Ashbourne.

On for three weekends: 17-19 Nov, 24-26 Nov and 1-3 Dec.

Back for our 4th year, the Illuminated walk is our end of the year celebration of Heritage Wood.

The evening event follows approximately 1 mile of pathways through Heritage Wood.

As you embark on this journey, prepare to be captivated by dynamic luminous displays and resplendent, colourful trees aglow, graciously illuminating the otherwise dim evenings of November and December.

Refreshments will be available during the walk and afterwards there will be more hot drinks and food you can buy, and also stalls and treats to tempt you to stay longer.

Lift your spirits during the winter season by joining us at Heritage Wood on Hollington Lane near Ashbourne & Ednaston.

Time slots: Your ticket will allocate you a 15 minute time slot for your arrival.

Accessibility: We aim to make the route as wheelchair and pushchair friendly as possible, but please be aware, by the very nature of the woodland some parts of the ground will be uneven and may need some effort to propel wheels.

Dogs: Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
