The Ashbourne half marathon is a challenging course taking in some of the most beautiful local countryside.

This is an annual event organised by Ashbourne running club, held on the last day of the festival and one of the festival fringe events.

It starts in the Market Place and follows a strenuous circuit including Blore hill. Are you up to the challenge?

Registration is in the recreation grounds from 8:30. Entry on the day is normally available but for certainty of a place and to help out the volunteers who organise it, please try and book in advance (and save a few £).
