The Pavilion
About......
The Ashbourne Pavilion opened in 2022, paid for by public donation and grants. The Pavilion is owned by registered charity Ashbourne Sports & Community Partnership. It is located in the recreation grounds beside a large public car park and there is also parking for bicycles.
You can sit inside or outside and watch the sports on the recreation ground or on the big screen or just relax & admire the views. A wide selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks is available and also a selection of cakes, sandwiches and sweets.
The toilets are open for public use whenever the Pavilion itself is open, normally Tuesday to Sunday (normally closed Mondays)
There is a defibrilator on the wall outside.
The Pavilion is used by many of Ashbourne's sports clubs. It is the home base for Ashbourne Ladies Football Club, Ashbourne Cricket Club and Mayfield Football Club. The changing rooms offer hot showers with plenty of space for kit. They can be booked by individuals and organisations for any event.
